These basic safety practices are standard in every gun shop and help keep everyone comfortable and safe.

- A background check is run
- If approved, you complete the purchase
Federal law requires a background check and paperwork for firearm purchases through licensed dealers.
In many cases, the process can be completed the same day, depending on approval.
